For my first post of 2018, I am going to share some of the products I’m loving right now. The collection includes Soap and Glory, The Body Shop, Lush, and Zoella products, which are some of my absolute obsessions right now. See the links below to find these products online and please note that I am not affiliated with any of these companies, I’m only showing my love for them!
Winter can really challenge your skin and body. The freezing weather can make your legs look like snakeskin, it’s so cold, you don’t have the patience to shave your legs any higher your ankles and your hair hasn’t been washed in days. Meanwhile, you are cosied up in a blanket, watching some TV and snacking on chocolate. I admit that has been me on many occasions. But you can’t forget about your skin! It is important to find the right products to use in this season that only take seconds to put on and can immediately make a difference. Here are a few of the products I am loving in this snowy season, I hope you enjoy!
So with the cold comes a great need for a good facial moisturiser. My face is always playing up and reacting to all sorts of products I use on it which makes finding the perfect moisturiser incredibly important to prevent any harm to my skin. The Celestial Moisturiser by Lush is one of the very few creams that feel great on my skin, smells wonderful and works. And isn’t that all a moisturiser needs to be? Celestial is kind to sensitive skin and high in vitamin E, not to mention vegan. I haven’t been using this product for long and I’m already in love and would highly recommend it to anyone who has trouble finding products that won’t react to your precious skin.
Even though Christmas is over, I can’t say goodbye to the amazing Snow’ella Christmas Range by the fabulous Zoella. Her recent addition to her perfume collection smells divine and has been my go-to for the past two months. But wait, It gets better! Because she also released roll on perfume sticks for emergencies. Included in her four pack of mini fragrances you will find her previous Christmas scent Bake My Day as well as Blissful Mistful and the Gelat’eau perfume.
Also in her Snow’ella range comes Snow Silky, a sweet-smelling body lotion, Snow Polished, an exfoliant corporeal that works wonders and Snow Smooth body butter that feels great on dry skin. This triumphant trio has made me feel and smell great! I
absolutely love these products and even though tis’ not the festive season anymore “sniff sniff” who cares?
Hands plus winter equals a lot of dry skin, that’s for sure. But Soap and Glories Hand Food is brilliant for flaky skin and you can see results from the first time you use it. The cream is soft and kind to skin, you can use it whenever you need it and isn’t greasy at all. I admit I used all of mine up within the week and had to stock up on more bottles for the future! Love this product 10/10.
To end this post on a fun note, I’m adding one of my stocking fillers from Christmas this year, The Sparkler by The Body Shop. This is a beautifully scented all over shimmer spray that adds a splash of glimmer to any outfit. I think this product has the best impact on my dark hair because the contrast is great. But sometimes I might go a little crazy and spray it everywhere. I am obsessed with this and I think it’s one of my favourite Christmas presents.
